Quick installation steps

  1. Download Ledger Live from the official download page: ledger.com/ledger-live/download.
  2. Open the installer and follow platform prompts to install the app.
  3. Connect your Ledger device by USB (or Bluetooth where supported) and unlock it with your PIN.
  4. Use Ledger Live’s guided flow to initialize a new device or restore from a recovery phrase.

During setup, the device will display recovery words on its screen — write them down and keep them offline. Never type or store the recovery phrase digitally.
